The Oppo Find X6 series is finally here after countless teasers and resources over the past few weeks. As expected, the range consists of two models, the Oppo Find X6 and the Oppo Find X6 Pro. The Pro model has all the shiny new features, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 1-inch main camera. The vanilla model comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chip and slightly worse cameras.

Technical specifications of Oppo Find X6 series

Oppo Find X6 series has a new design. The company set off from the design it has been using for the last two years. The camera module has now moved to the center and emulates a giant Oreo cookie. The phones retain their curved screens, so their bezels aren’t flat like most phones on the market. The vanilla variant is built around a 6.74-inch display, while the Pro version has a larger 6.82-inch display. Both are 10-bit OLED panels, but their specifications are different.

The Find X6 screen has a resolution of 2772×1240 pixels, a refresh rate of 40-120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 1400 nits. On the other hand, the display on the Find X6 Pro not only has a better resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels, but also has a refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz and a native peak brightness of 2500 nits.

Also, Pro phone is more powerful as it uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip instead of MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC like non-professional phone. But both are equipped with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. On the software side, they ship ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13. They are guaranteed to get 4 generations of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. The smartphones come with a Hasselblad-based triple camera system and a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie camera. They use MariSilicon X NPU for image processing.

The camera setup on the Pro includes a 1-inch 50-megapixel Sony IMX988 main sensor and two 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensors with autofocus for ultra-wide and 3x periscopic optical zoom. The vanilla version comes with a similar triple 50MP setup, while the main and ultra-wide sensors are Sony IMX890 and Samsung JN1 respectively. Other features include in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, infrared sensor and IP68 rating (IP54 for non-Pro).

Find X6 Pro is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The Find X6 is powered by a slightly smaller 4,800mAh battery and only supports 80W wired charging.
