HMD Global launched the Nokia C12 in India last week. The main feature of this smartphone is its 3000 mAh removable battery. Today, the company introduced the Nokia C12 Pro in the country. The Pro model practically does not differ from the regular version. The only difference between them is the battery capacity.
Nokia C12 Pro comes with a 4000mAh removable battery. This means that the battery capacity is 1000 mAh more than the vanilla Nokia C12. For the larger battery, HMD Global charges Rs 1,000 extra compared to the non-pro model, which sells for Rs 5,999. So, you will have to pay Rs 6,999 for the base 2GB + 64GB variant and Rs 7,499 for the higher 3GB + 64GB variant.
If we talk about the technical specifications, the Nokia C12 Pro has a 6.3-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels (HD+) and a waterdrop notch. It runs on the old 28nm Unisoc SC9863A1 chipset and runs Android 12 Go Edition. HMD Global guarantees at least 2 years of regular security updates, but does not update Android. Interestingly, the company offers a 12-month replacement warranty.
In addition, the device has an 8 MP main camera and a 5 MP front camera. It has support for single-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, 3.5mm headphone jack, MicroSD card slot and MicroUSB port. Finally, the Nokia C12 Pro is available in Light Mint, Charcoal or Dark Cyan.
