Redmi has finally confirmed the release date of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo for the Chinese market. The poster shown below confirms that the device will be announced in China on March 28 at 19:00 (local time). It will be the world’s first phone to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip.

Besides announcing the launch date, the poster gives a first look at the design of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. As you can see, there is a 64MP triple camera on the back of the device. On the right is the volume rocker and what appears to be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The top of the Note 12 Turbo houses the microphone, IR blaster, speaker grille and 3.5mm audio jack. The opposite edge has the speaker grille, USB-C port, microphone and SIM card slot.

The Redmi Note 12 Turbo is said to have a 6.67-inch flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. It is likely to work on Android 13 based on MIUI 14. The phone may have a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

Under the hood, the Note 12 Turbo may have a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor. The highest variant of the device may have 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Note 12 Turbo could have a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It is likely to have a triple camera setup of 50 megapixels (primary) + 8 megapixels (ultra-wide) + 2 megapixels (macro) on the back. A recent report claimed that Poco will launch the Poco F5 5G in India on April 6th. There are speculations that the Poco F5 will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo.
