Lu Weibing, head of Xiaomi Group and general manager of the Redmi brand, has published new details about the Redmi Note 12 Turbo smartphone on Weibo. The post says that the phone will have an internal battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh, which will provide a maximum battery life of 1.33 days. In addition, the weight of the new smartphone will be only 181 grams and its thickness will be 7.9 mm.

According to preliminary information, the new phone will be the first phone to be equipped with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 single-chip system. This mobile platform is very close to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in terms of features and performance.

It is known that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have a flagship flat OLED display with a high PWM frequency. The manufacturer claims that this will be the best display in the history of the Redmi Note series. The width of the upper frame will be 1.95, on the sides – 1.42 mm, and the chin 2.22 mm. The smartphone will be introduced next week.
