Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ share features. They have the same screen 6.67 inch AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rateCompatibility with Dolby Vision and HDR+. The main drawback is the brightness, which is left with a maximum peak of only 900 nits.
The processor chosen was the MediaTek Dimensity 1080, a solution similar to the Snapdragon 778G+ we saw on many high-end models last year. The Pro+ version comes in 8+256GB configuration only, with a base 6+128GB and an intermediate version for the “dry” Pro model. Both have the same 5,000mAh battery, with 67W and 120W load respectively.

It doesn’t reach the level of highest-range phones, but it’s not as far off as you might think. It’s a flat camera with a massive ISOCELL HPX sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle. The third sensor is “depth”, and we’re already guessing that its role is reference.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G is also not short on camera with 50 megapixel IMX766 as the main sensor. It’s the sensor that most high-end mobile phones have installed in the past year.
Both are 5G mobiles with the latest connectivity and the great sin of reaching the market with Android 12. The customization layer is MIUI 14, but we don’t quite understand how Xiaomi’s flagship mid-range is out of date.
