Huawei company today introduced not only the Huawei P60 series, but also its next-generation foldable smartphone – the Huawei Mate X3. The new model received several key differences from its predecessors. These features include support for two-way Beidou satellite communication, ultra-thin protective glass, reduced size and weight, waterproof (IPX8) and wet touch input mode.
The smartphone is equipped with a 7.85-inch internal flexible display (2496×2224, LTPO, 120 Hz) and a 6.4-inch external display (LTPO, 120 Hz, Full HD + 2504×1080 pixels), ultra-wide-angle 13. 5X zoom MP and telephoto 12 MP), 8 megapixel selfie camera.
The hardware base was SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 4G from 256 GB to 1 TB of flash memory. The 4800mAh battery supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The smartphone weighs 239 grams, which is quite a lot for such a form factor, and its thickness when unfolded is 5.3 mm. The hinge can be fixed at any angle, i.e. the smartphone can be used in the partially open state. HarmonyOS 3.1 operating system is installed on the smartphone. The smartphone can already be ordered in China for between 12,999 and 15,999 yuan, which is currently between $1,903 and $2,343 in dollar terms. The open sale will begin on April 7th.
