Huawei to launch P60 and Mate X3 series

0

Huawei held its spring launch event in China yesterday, where it introduced the highly anticipated P60 smartphones, foldable Mate X3 and some other ecosystem products. The good news is that the technology giant is now preparing to present its flagship P60 series and its recently introduced foldable device to the European market in May.

According to a media invitation distributed by GSMArena, Huawei will hold a special event in Munich, Germany on May 9 to promote the P60 series in Europe. Only the flagship P60 is mentioned in the invitation to the event, but the phrase “flagship product launch” suggests that the company may also see the foldable Mate X3 smartphone and possibly some of its accessories.

Huawei is making every effort to remain viable in the global market despite numerous challenges, including trade restrictions imposed by the US government. The launch of the latest flagship devices on the old continent could help the Chinese giant maintain its position as one of the world’s leading smartphone manufacturers.

The latest P60 series includes the vanilla Huawei P60, Huawei P60 Pro and the Huawei P60 Art, which has quite a different design. All three phones received a 6.67-inch LTPO OLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz and a resolution of FHD +. They have the same 48MP main sensor as the RYYB sensor and OIS. The P60 and P60 Pro share the same 13-megapixel ultra-wide unit, while the P60 Art has a 40-megapixel sensor.

The telephoto lens on the P60 Pro and P60 Art is 48 MP. The vanilla model settles for a 12-megapixel telephoto camera. All three P60 phones are powered by the 4G version of the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. You can read our news to learn more about the P60 series and the foldable Mate X3 smartphone.
