Redmi company has launched two of its new A-series budget smartphones to the global market. Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus have been officially introduced. They offer a good set of features such as the MediaTek Helio G36 chipset and 5000mAh battery. This latest device from Xiaomi is an affordable smartphone with excellent value for money.

Starting with the screen, both devices feature a 6.52-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ 1080*720 pixel resolution, dot notch and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display has a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz. Under the hood, the devices are powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. It uses LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 memory. Users can expand the storage up to 1TB using a dedicated microSD card slot.

The device boots with Android 12 Go out of the box. In terms of optics, both devices have dual rear camera setups with an 8-megapixel primary lens and a secondary QVGA lens. The gadget includes a 5-megapixel front-facing camera housed inside a dot notch. Both devices are powered by 5,000mAh batteries that support standard 10W charging.

You may be wondering that all the features mentioned above are exactly the same, but what is the difference? Well, it’s in the security section. While the Redmi A2 Plus supports a rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanner, the Redmi A2 does not have a physical fingerprint scanner. In addition, both devices have the same weight and a weight of 192 gr. The dimensions of the devices are as follows; 164.9mm x 76.75mm x 9.09mm.
