Launched on March 28, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be performance-oriented as it will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 chipset. The brand releases new teasers every day to confirm the key features of the phone. The poster below shared by Redmi today reveals some information about the primary camera of the phone.

The poster confirms that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will have a 64-megapixel primary camera. It will have features such as optical image stabilization (OIS) and Xiaomi Imaging Engine 2.0. There is no official confirmation regarding the device’s secondary cameras.

According to some sources, it will also have a 64-megapixel camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. On the front, the device could have a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Other reports have revealed that the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display with under-display fingerprint scanner. Built on the Snapdragon 7 Plus Gen 2 processor, the device will be equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. A 3.725mm² steam room will be equipped with a cooling unit to dissipate the heat.

Note 12 Turbo will run on Android 13 based on MIUI 14. It will also offer other features such as dual SIM, dual stereo speakers, 3.5mm audio jack, X-axis linear motor and USB-C port. It is 7.9 mm thick and weighs 181 grams. There is currently no information about the cost of the device. The smartphone is currently up for pre-order in the Chinese market. There are rumors that the Note 12 Turbo will be renamed Poco F5 in the global market.
