OnePlus announced the limited release of its flagship OnePlus 11 5G Jupiter Rock Edition smartphone in China on March 29. The new edition is expected to feature unique design materials with pleasant textures that have not been used before in the industry. While details on the ingredients are currently hidden, a live image of a past leaked version of Jupiter Rock has revealed a cream-colored backside that resembles the hues of Jupiter’s surface.

OnePlus president Li Jie previously stated that the Jupiter Rock edition will be quite unique and the phone is expected to be available in limited numbers for a limited time. More details about the special edition variant are likely to be announced at launch. The OnePlus 11 5G was launched earlier this year in black and green colors for global markets.

Features of OnePlus 11

The OnePlus 11 features a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with curved edges and a notch in the upper left corner. It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, provides a maximum brightness of 1300 nits, and is compatible with Dolby Vision technology. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, has up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

It also includes a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging but no wireless charging. The triple camera setup on the back of the phone is by Hasselblad and includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP telephoto camera. For selfies, the OnePlus 11 5G is equipped with a 16 MP front camera.
