A new video showed impressive handling of the Tesla Cybertruck

The video begins with the Cybertruck making a U-turn that appears to be rear-wheel drive. Providing a tighter and more precise turn, the crab mode can be seen in action as the car navigates the streets with ease.

Elon Musk commented on the video.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the Cybertruck could be as agile as the Model Y with the same turning radius. The video also shows a Tesla test driver testing the handling of the car, which appears to respond well to steering.

Meanwhile, Tesla has announced that the Cybertruck will be equipped with a so-called “crab mode” option as early as 2021. It provides a smaller turning radius and better handling on dirt roads.

Tesla on target

When the Cybertruck project was first announced, Tesla set out to create an electric pickup truck that was as practical as the Ford F-150 but gripped like a sports car. The goal was ambitious, but the video shows that electric vehicles have many advantages that, combined with other industry trends, have allowed Tesla to make his vision a reality.

Tesla recently announced that it plans to start production of the Cybertruck this summer, and significant deliveries are expected in 2024 as the company ramps up production. Cybertruck is getting a lot of excitement and this latest video will definitely raise the anticipation of those waiting to get their hands on the innovative electric pickup truck.
