Production of Tecno Phantom V Fold begins

Tecno launched the Phantom V Fold in India earlier this month. The device is priced at Rs 89,990 and Rs 99,999 for 12GB + 25GB and 12GB + 512GB configurations, respectively. Tecno has announced its early payment offer, but no exact date has been given. Now the brand has opened a special early access date for early adopters. Apart from that, Tecno India has also announced that it will produce the first foldable phone in the country as part of its ‘Make in India’ initiative.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold early booking discount will launch on Amazon on April 12. It will be valid until stocks last. The device will be available for Rs 77,777. The start date of sales of the foldable phone is currently unknown. The current capacity of the Tecno Phantom V Fold, which will be produced in the Noida factory, is said to be 24 million phones per year.

In terms of key features, the Tecno Phantom V Fold is a horizontal foldable phone with a 6.42-inch FHD+ primary display and a 7.85-inch internal display with a resolution of 2000×2296 pixels. Both displays feature an AMOLED LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and punch-hole cutout. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold features a circular camera module that houses a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. There is a 32-megapixel camera on the main screen and a 16-megapixel sensor on the built-in screen for selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the Tecno Phantom V Fold is equipped with a Dimensity 9000 Plus processor. It has 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and is available in 256GB and 512GB storage options. The foldable phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. It runs Android 13 out of the box.
