Motorola recently launched the Motorola Edge 40 Pro to the global market. It looks like the vanilla variant of the device, called Edge 40, will be making its worldwide debut soon. A recent leak showed the black and green color variants of the Edge 40. Now, a new leak from a reliable informant gives the smartphone its first look at the blue and red variants.
In the leaked images, Motorola Edge 40 can be seen in four colors: Eclipse Black, Nebula Green, Viva Magenta and Lunar Blue. The back of the blue variant is acrylic, the back of the other color variants is leather.
The upcoming Motorola Edge 40 is expected to feature a large 6.55-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz. It will likely debut as the world’s first Dimensity 8020 chipset and will be available in 128GB or 256GB storage options. Both memory variants are likely to have 8GB of RAM. The device will be powered by a 4,400mAh battery with 68W TurboPower charging and 15W wireless charging.
On the photography front, the Edge 40 is expected to have a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens on the back. There will be a 32-megapixel camera on the front.
It will run on the latest Android 13 operating system and have an under-display fingerprint scanner for secure and convenient access. The device is expected to hit the European market priced at €899 (~$980).
