POCO has launched its latest budget smartphone for the Indian market. The new device in question is the C51 model, which combines some important features despite its affordable price.
The new POCO C51 features a tall 6.52-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the budget phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, which is a slightly overclocked version of the Helio G35 chipset. This processor works in conjunction with 4GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 3GB with the help of virtual RAM.
The device runs Android 13 GO Edition and is committed to receiving security updates for at least 2 years. There’s a 5-megapixel selfie shooter on the front and an 8-megapixel primary sensor on the back, along with an additional depth sensor. The POCO C51 is powered by a large 5000mAh battery that only supports standard 10W charging. Other key features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The C51 is available in two colors, Power Black and Royal Blue. The device is available in a single storage configuration, 4GB + 64GB, and will be available for just INR 8,499 (about $104) on Flipkart at noon on April 10, 2023.
