Chinese tech giant Huawei is gearing up to launch a new mid-range smartphone series, the Huawei Nova 11. A recent leak from Weibo Classmateguan suggested that the Nova 11 series launch date is set for April 17, 2023. This is a remarkable event that comes just two weeks after the launch of the Huawei P60 series.

According to the leak, the Huawei Nova 11 series will be available in two new colors, matte purple and matte green. The back of the phone will feature three vertically arranged lenses and an oval camera with a large ring in the middle. The middle camera will have a round hole, which means a new design for Huawei.

Nova 11 will have a flat panel with thin bezels that will provide a high screen-to-body ratio. The screen will have a central top hole for the selfie camera. The volume and power buttons are located on the right side of the phone, while the bottom of the phone will have the main stereo speaker, USB Type-C port, microphone and SIM card tray. At the top, there will be an additional microphone and a second stereo speaker.

According to previous sources, the Huawei Nova 11 will have a matte back panel and a cylindrical camera bump that houses a powerful 108MP (Pro model) or 50MP (standard model) camera system. It could also be the first mid-range smartphone with satellite technology, allowing users to send SMS messages outside of network coverage.

While Huawei has yet to confirm an official launch date for the Nova 11 series, we can expect to hear more soon. The launch of the new series very shortly after the P60 series shows Huawei’s strong push in the smartphone market. With the launch of the Nova 11 series, Huawei is expected to launch a new advertising campaign to showcase its latest products.
