For those who don’t know, the Edge 40 Pro is a flagship device and comes with top-notch specs and features like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Edge 40, an upper mid-range phone, is powered by the 5G MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset. According to the popular benchmarking platform, this processor will match at least one version with 8GB of RAM.

When we look at the list, we see that the vanilla Edge 40 scored 1105 points in the single-core test and 3542 points in the multi-core test. The test also revealed that Motorola’s upcoming phone will come with Android 13 out of the box. This OS will likely have a custom My UX skin running on it. From what we know so far, the Edge 40 will feature a 6.55-inch pOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits.

It is said to have a dual camera setup on the back with a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Meanwhile, it is expected to have a 13-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The device is likely to offer at least a 256GB storage variant.

Under the hood, the device can be powered by a 4,400mAh battery that supports 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The Motorola Edge 40 will come in a variety of colors, including Moonlight Blue, Misty Green, Eclipse Black, and Magenta.
