HTC Wildfire E2 Play has been secretly announced for the African market. The Taiwanese company launched the Wildfire E3 Lite in Africa earlier this month, and now the brand is back with a new and slightly more powerful device. HTC Wildfire E2 Play specifications and features

HTC Wildfire E2 Play features a large 6.82 inch teardrop shaped IPS LCD panel. The screen has a HD+ resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20.5:9, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and a brightness of 450 nits. It is equipped with Unisoc T606 chipset and 8GB of RAM.

The Wildfire E2 Play has 128GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot. Android 12 comes pre-installed. For security, the device offers features like rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and artificial face unlock.

On the front, there’s the Wildfire E2 Play’s 8-megapixel selfie camera. The rear of the device has a 48-megapixel primary camera, 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel macro camera, 2-megapixel depth sensor and LED flash.

Wildfire E2 Play runs on Android 12. It is powered by a 4600mAh battery that supports 10W charging. The device offers other features like dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port and 3.5mm audio jack.
