Honor is preparing to launch the Honor X50i mid-range phone in the Chinese market. There is no information about the launch date, but it looks like it will be released this month as it has already been confirmed by TENAA. On the eve of the anticipated unveiling, whistleblower WHYLAB shared live footage of the Honor X50i. Some of the images showed the key features of the device. Here’s a rundown of everything that has come to light thanks to the latest leak.

You can see the Honor X50i with a punch-hole display on the front. The rear design of the Honor 70 Pro and Honor 80 seems to have served as the inspiration for the back of the X50i. Below are the black and blue variants of the X50i. It is not yet clear whether the device will be available in other color options.

Honor X50i specifications

Leaked images reveal that the Honor X50i will feature a 6.7-inch LCD panel with 2388 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. It will be an entry-level 5G phone based on the Dimensity 6020 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

The X50i is expected to come in multiple configurations such as 8GB RAM+128GB storage, 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage. The device will offer 7 GB of virtual RAM.

The X50i will come with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging. It will have an 8 MP front camera and a 108 MP (primary) + 2 MP (depth) dual camera with triple LED flash. The phone will come pre-installed with Android 12. The thickness of the X50i will be 7.48 mm and its weight will be 179 grams.
