Xiaomi fans are eagerly awaiting the official introduction of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone, which has been the subject of historical sources for a long time. It was recently reported that the device will run for 60 minutes on a one percent charge, which is impressive. The term “flagship killer” is often loosely thrown around in the smartphone industry, but Xiaomi has managed to do this in the past and it looks like the company is on track to achieve the same result again. The company has now officially unveiled the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and showcased some impressive specs of the smartphone. With its impressive technical features and elegant design, this device will take the market by storm.

One of the most striking features of the smartphone is the back panel design. It’s been leaked online in the past, but regardless, the olive green and pigmented leather back panel and camera design add stunning visual appeal. And that’s not all, the device also features a disc camera module wrapped in a golden circle that adds elegance to the overall design. Under the hood, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC processor, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 flash memory. It also provides up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, enough for even the most demanding users. Also, the company claims that the smartphone has IP68 dust and water resistance.

The real star of the show is the device’s imaging capabilities. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is equipped with a new Leica Summicron lens, the company’s next-generation cameras and a large aperture at all focal lengths. The device is equipped with four Leica cameras, each with 50 million pixels and a wide aperture. It supports snapshots, night shots and 8K video recording, making it a photographer’s dream. The device uses 4 Sony sensors, one of which is IMX989 and all other sensors are IMX858. The main camera of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra also has a ‘Leica Single Inch Variable Aperture’ which provides two aperture sizes f/1.9 and f/4.0. This feature allows the device to take stunning photos in a variety of lighting conditions, making it ideal for photography enthusiasts.

The device is also strong when it comes to battery life. With a large-capacity 5000mAh battery, it supports 90W charging power and up to 50W wireless charging. The device is also equipped with self-developed ring cooling pump heat dissipation technology, which makes it possible to achieve continuous shooting in 4K 60 frames without frame drops throughout the entire process.

To make things even more photo-centric, the company has also released an additional set of camera grips for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This set of grips looks more like a camera and complements the device’s curved back cover. It’s the perfect accessory for those who take photography seriously and want to get the most out of their device. A past report had previously said that the phone will be offered in three configurations such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. These models can be priced at 6,299 yuan (~$916), 6,799 yuan (~$990) and 7,499 yuan (~$1,090), respectively. The top version of 16GB RAM+1TB storage may cost 7,999 yuan (~$1,163).
