Reports have revealed that Vivo is working on Vivo S17 series smartphones for the Chinese market. Expected to include Vivo S17e (V2285A), Vivo S17 (V2283A), and Vivo S17 Pro (V2285A), the S17 series is expected to launch next month (May). There is speculation that some of these devices will be renamed as Vivo V29 series phones in the global market. Today, well-known whistleblower Digital Chat Station has leaked the camera specs of the alleged Vivo S17 Pro.

According to the leak, the Vivo S17 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766V main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a center-focused 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 portrait camera. While the new leak doesn’t mention the phone’s name, the Weibo post’s mention of the letter “S” in the comments section is a clear clue that it might be talking about the S17 Pro.

Recent reports have suggested that the Vivo S17 Pro will feature an OLED display with curved edges from BOE. The screen is said to have a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Vivo S17 is expected to have the same display, which means users can expect an enchanting viewing experience.
