OPPO has officially launched the IF Photography Awards 2023, a mobile photography competition that pushes the boundaries of creativity beyond images and visual expressions.
The “Beyond Image, Beyond Imagination” concept reflects OPPO’s commitment to driving technological innovation forward and unleashing the creativity of users around the world. OPPO’s professional mobile photography technology is designed to provide the ultimate in aesthetics and inspiration, helping hobby users create timeless masterpieces.
This award is one of the biggest awards in the industry and is proof of OPPO’s commitment to inspiring mobile photographers. OPPO Imagine IF Master of the Year (Gold Award) includes a CNY 160,000 prize, participation in the Hasselblad Image boot camp, and the opportunity to showcase your work at international exhibitions. There are also four OPPO Silver Awards (RMB 60,000) and ten OPPO Bronze Awards (RMB 20,000), which offer attractive rewards as well as opportunities to develop your talent and participate in exhibitions.
In addition, there are four Honorable Mention awards in each of the eight categories. There are also Partner Channel Awards and a Monthly Activity Award for the most inspiring work.
OPPO has brought together a prestigious group of world-renowned photographers who bring diverse perspectives and rich experience to the competition.
Among the distinguished judges is Alec Soth, one of the world’s most renowned contemporary photographers and a member of Magnum Photos. Pete Lau, Senior Vice President and Product Manager of OPPO, will share valuable insights with the jury. Tang Hui, one of China’s finest portrait painters and Hasselblad instructor, whose experience will bring a unique perspective to the judging process. Tina Signesdóttir Hult, an internationally recognized fine art photographer and Hasselblad master, will join the jury with her critical eye. Wang Jianjun, one of the top landscape photographers and a member of the Chinese Photographers Association, will also share his experience in the competition. Yin Chao, one of China’s top fashion photographers and Hasselblad Ambassador, whose skills will be invaluable in the process of judging and selecting the best photos.
The competition is held in eight categories, including: Far Away, Portrait, Night Scenes, Colors, Landscape, Taste of Memories, Light and Shadow and Chapters of Life. These categories are designed to inspire creativity among OPPO users around the world.
Applications for the OPPO Imagine IF Photography Awards 2023 will be submitted through the OPPO Imagine IF official website or 500px partner channels and will be open until 00:00 (GMT) on July 26, 2023.
