First you need to understand the USB-C 2.1 standard. Its main “feature” – increasing the maximum transmit power from 100 watts to 240 watts. In practice, this means fewer cables for different devices in the house, since such a cable can charge both a regular smartphone or monitor and a fairly powerful laptop.

What did the company show? Club3D

The model range consists of three cables:

  • The simplest CAC-1573 can only be used for power.
  • The CAC-1575 can transmit 240 watts of power and data – its bandwidth is 20 Gbps. This is enough to view an image with 4K resolution at a frame rate of 60 fps.
  • The top model CAC-1576 has a data throughput of 40 Gbps.

The length of CAC-1573 and CAC-1575 is 2 meters, CAC-1576 – 1 meter. There is no data on the cost yet – in any case, it is ready to disclose only on request.

It is worth noting that the release of such cables is a step forward, as there are no consumer power supplies with a UCB-C connector that will produce 240 watts. However, these cables can be used to transmit data and charge other equipment.
