With a new purpose-built APU: the AMD Ryzen™ Z1-series processor with RDNA™ 3 graphics, ROG Ally is ready to deliver an unprecedented level of portable gaming performance. Gamers who like lighter indie titles or more graphic-demanding AAA titles can do it all with the new ROG Ally. All of this is made possible by the ROG Zero Gravity Thermal System, which uses a dual-fan system, ultra-thin heatsink fins, and high-friction heatpipes to keep ROG Ally cool in any position.

Next-generation gaming performance requires a matching panel, and ROG Ally is no exception. Equipped with a 120Hz Full HD (1080p) panel and FreeSync™ Premium support, gamers will experience the highest motion clarity in fast-paced games without visual tearing or stuttering when FPS drops. The screen also has a maximum brightness of 500 nits, making it easy for gamers to keep an eye on what’s going on in more challenging environments like outdoors. This touch screen also allows for smooth navigation of the Windows desktop when gamers need to change settings or install the next game.

ROG Ally runs on Windows 11, which means gamers can access all of their game libraries and streaming services on one device. No matter where the latest and greatest games are available, ROG Ally can lead players to victory. Navigating the Windows desktop is a seamless experience, whether it’s with the console’s joysticks and buttons or with Windows’ robust touchscreen support.

In addition, it features a special edition Armory Crate that will debut on ROG Ally, with customized hotkeys for switching between performance modes, game launcher, in-game monitoring software, Aura Sync support, and more. ROG is also offering a 90-day trial of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, giving users instant access to hundreds of great titles from Xbox Game Studios, independent studios and blockbusters from the moment you purchase ROG Ally.

For a portable device, weight and ergonomics are everything. ROG engineers painstakingly designed and refined the ROG Ally’s shape and weight until they were satisfied that they had created the perfect machine for all-day portability and gaming. Weighing just 608 grams, ROG Ally is never too big in a gamer’s backpack or hands, allowing for comfortable, uninterrupted gaming.

Ally’s ergonomics continue into the handles, with a unique triangular texture on the back, allowing players to securely hold the machine at any angle. ROG-inspired lines grace the palm-facing portion of the grip, helping to reduce accidental slippage.
