The first phase of production of the iPhone 14 is reportedly in the implementation phase, known as trial production. At this stage, few data collection devices are assembled for further mass production.

Trial production has four main purposes

First, test the planned assembly process to identify any problems. Second, identify opportunities to increase productivity. Third, collect data such as the number of units produced per hour. Finally, establish an appropriate quality control process.

Last year, Apple transformed Luxshare from a component supplier to an iPhone aggregator, including some iPhone 13 Pro devices. Pro Max was still only going to Foxconn.

However, the company’s hopes of increasing iPhone orders this year did not materialize: UDN reports that Luxshare will likely only take orders for the base model iPhone 14 this year. This shows that all is going as planned for the iPhone 14 series this year. Source
