Last year, Google updated its mid-range smartphone lineup with the launch of the Google Pixel 6a, which received rave reviews from users on various aspects such as camera features and battery life. The brand is currently preparing to launch the successor of this device called Pixel 7a, which is expected to improve the features of its predecessor. It is assumed that the launch of the Google I/O event is scheduled for May 10.

Google Pixel 7a specs leaked

Ahead of the launch, a new report has surfaced claiming to reveal all the specs of the upcoming Pixel 7a. The report came from 91 cell phones citing whistleblower Yogesh Brar as the source of information. The report says the Pixel 7a will feature a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by Google’s own Tensor G2 chipset, the same processor that powers the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The smartphone is expected to receive 8 GB of RAM LPDDR5 and 128 GB of internal memory, as well as UFS 3.1.

For photography, the Pixel 7a is expected to feature a 64MP rear camera with optical image stabilization and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is expected to have a 10.8 MP sensor that will allow you to take clear selfies. The smartphone will be equipped with a 4400 mAh battery that promises up to 72 hours of battery life. The battery supports 20W wired charging as well as wireless charging support.

Pixel 7a will run Android 13 as its operating system right out of the box. Overall, the Google Pixel 7a looks like a promising mid-range smartphone with impressive features like a powerful processor, ample RAM and storage, high-quality cameras and long-lasting battery. Another recent report revealed that the smartphone will launch in three colors: Blue, Gray and White. These colors will be accompanied by official matching caps of the same colour.
