Popular feature will disappear on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max

Continuing to make waves in the smartphone market with the iPhone 14 series, Apple has managed to attract attention this year, especially with the Dynamic Island feature on the Pro models, and is probably experiencing one of the brightest periods in its history. But being at the top is not enough when it comes to technology.

You should always look ahead and work on exciting models that will attract users. Moving in this direction, the American technology giant has been working on the iPhone 15 series for a while. Naturally, some information leaks in this process and we have the chance to see the new iPhones as soon as they appear. According to recent reports, the iPhone 15 Pro is expected to have an Action button instead of a mute switch.

When it comes to design, smartphones have been a little different from each other for a while. While the overall design and placement of the rear camera vary, the front camera is almost entirely screen. This causes each new model to feel the same as the previous one. Not wanting to lose their sense of innovation, manufacturers often try different designs.

For example, it has been talked about for a while that Apple will get rid of mechanical buttons and use vibrating solid-state buttons. However, it was learned that the company was not very interested in these changes and postponed them to the iPhone 16 series, which should be released in 2024. However, this does not mean that there will be no significant changes. It looks like Apple is preparing to sacrifice a feature that users love to make a necessary innovation.

The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro will have a customizable Action button that appeared earlier. New devices will have two mechanical volume buttons and an additional mechanical button to toggle the Ring/Silent switch. This feature will be similar to the Action button currently used on the Apple Watch Ultra, and users will be able to assign the desired function to the button.

With this development, it has now been confirmed that the difference between the iPhone 15 Pro and the standard models will increase even more. For years, Apple has not differentiated between the two models except for the camera and battery, and has produced almost identical models. However, with the iPhone 14, we saw the processor and design differences specific to the Pro models. It seems that this change will become even more important in the future.
