The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is a few months away, but sources state that Samsung will showcase it at its Unpacked event a few months ago. The long-awaited phone was revealed in images provided to Smartprix by OnLeaks, known for its resources.

While the shared images are launched as the images of the phone, they also give our first look at its design. It has long been rumored that Samsung has fixed the hinge on the Galaxy Z Fold series this year to reduce creases on the screen. The new Galaxy Z Fold 5 hinge is fully visible in the images.

Unlike the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which ranges from 14.2mm to 15.8mm along the hinges, the upcoming foldable device is said to have shrunk to 13.4mm when folded, as opposed to the overall thickness. Samsung is expected to use a drop hinge design similar to the second-generation Flexion hinge used in the OPPO Find N2.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is said to keep the same 6.2-inch outer screen and 7.6-inch interior screen overall, but we can see the bezels getting smaller all over the place. The device is expected to measure 154.9×129.9×6.3mm when folded and 154.9×67.1×13.5mm when folded. As for the Galaxy Z Fold 5, that’s what I can see and know right now.
