Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo S17 smartphone series in China in May. The line will have three models such as the Vivo S17e, S17 and S17 Pro. According to a report that came out in March, these devices have corresponding model numbers such as V2283A, V2284A and V2285A. Now, Vivo S17e (V2285A) has appeared in the 3C certification database to point out its fast charging capabilities.
Vivo V2285 phone was spotted with Vivo charger with model number V8073L0A0-CN/ V8073L0D0-CN during 3C certification. The charger supports fast charging up to 80 W. While the battery size of the V2285A is not yet known, it looks like it will support 80W fast charging.
Popular Chinese forecasters like Panda is Bald and Digital Chat Station claim that the Vivo S17 and Vivo S17 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 778G (or 782G) and Dimensity 8200 chipsets, respectively.
The V2285A was recently spotted on Geekbench. The listing showed that it is powered by the Dimensity 7200, 8GB of RAM and Android 13. However, while the device is expected to be launched as the Vivo S17e, it seems to have been mistakenly thought to be the S17 Pro. As mentioned above, the S17 Pro is expected to have the Dimensity 8200 chip, so the V2285A with the D7200 chip is likely to be called the Vivo S17e when it enters the Chinese market.
The Vivo S17e is believed to have an AMOLED display with curved edges and an under-display fingerprint scanner. It will have a color changing back panel. The S17e is expected to get 12GB of RAM. The main camera of the device is likely to support optical image stabilization (OIS). Other details of the smartphone have not been disclosed yet.
