Sony is expected to launch the Xperia 1V smartphone in the coming days. In particular, the Sony Xperia 1V will be introduced on May 11 in the company’s domestic market in Japan. In a recent report, render images of the upcoming device were leaked. Now, on the eve of the expected launch date, an advertising poster has surfaced confirming the design of the Xperia 1V.

Spotted by Twitter user @jacky_3541, the poster shows the rear design of the smartphone. This design is consistent with previous renders. It is also known that the phone will be available in three colors, black, white and olive. The billboard has appeared in Hong Kong, which means we can expect the smartphone to launch there alongside the presentation in Japan.

Sony Xperia 1V specifications (rumored)

The Sony Xperia 1 V is said to have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and a camera setup that includes a 12MP primary camera, 12MP periscope and 48MP ultra-wide lens. It can also maintain the same 6.5-inch 4K HDR OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Other key features of the upcoming smartphone include a headphone jack, shutter button, power button with integrated fingerprint scanner, volume rocker and a central USB-C port at the bottom. It is also expected to pack a 12-megapixel front camera and a 5,000mAh battery measuring approximately 161.0×69.3×8.5mm.
