Motorola Edge 40 debuted in European markets. Lenovo-owned brand launched the Pro variant last month. The latest offering is the softened version of the Edge 40 Pro. The device is also the successor to the Edge 30. Read on to find out what it offers right out of the box.

Motorola Edge 40 features a 6.55-inch curved OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a center-aligned punch-hole notch. It is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner, 8-bit panel, 144 Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits. The device is equipped with dual stereo speakers configured with Dolby Atmos technology. It is also IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.

Motorola Edge 40 has a square camera module on the back. It includes a primary 1/1.55-inch 50MP OIS main sensor paired with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 32MP selfie camera on the front.

Under the hood of Motorola Edge 40 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device is backed by a 4,400mAh battery with support for wired and 15W wireless charging at 68W. The smartphone runs Android 13 right out of the box in terms of software.

Motorola Edge 40 is priced at €550 for a single 8GB + 256GB variant. Available in Nebula Green and Eclipse Black with vegan leather trim, and Moon Blue with acrylic trim. The smartphone can now be purchased in Europe.
