Electronics Hub service experts talked about the easiest and most difficult phones to service. The report is available on the company’s website.

Experts reviewed the repair instructions for 228 smartphone models on the iFixit list and evaluated the difficulty of servicing each device. As a result, the authors named devices the simplest and most difficult to repair. The Motorola Moto G7 turned out to be the easiest, with 25 minutes of servicing. Samsung Galaxy A40, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, iPhone 11 Pro Max and iPhone 13 are also included in the rating.

Google Pixel 7 was recognized as the most difficult device to repair – all operations with the device took more than an hour. Experts noted that the device from Google has many removable items and small screws. There were also problems with the repair of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, third-generation iPhone SE, Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and Xiaomi Mi 9.

The report states that Asus, HTC and LG produce smartphones that are the easiest to maintain – on average, it took no more than 30 minutes to repair the brand’s devices. On the contrary, the difficulty was experienced in devices manufactured by Sony, Xiaomi and Huawei.
