POCO’s affordable smartphone POCO M2 Pro has started receiving the MIUI 14 update in India. This update adds several new features and improvements aimed at improving the user experience, such as a new design language and super icons. It also includes the April 2023 Android security patch to strengthen system security.
Introduced in December 2022, MIUI 14 is the latest iteration of Xiaomi’s own Android skin. POCO M2 Pro users in India can now enjoy this update and its features. It is worth noting that some features of MIUI 14 may not be available because the update is based on Android 12.
POCO M2 Pro MIUI 14 update has build number V14.0.3.0.SJPINXM and has a file size of about 500 MB. The update is first distributed to POCO Pilots for testing and if no bugs are found, it will be made available to all users via an OTA (over-the-air) update. Alternatively, users can also download the update manually.
As for the changelog, it only mentions the updated April 2023 security patch and the optimized search system in the Settings app. Additionally, the search section will now display previous search history and categories, improving its accessibility and usability.
