There, the invaders gained access to mobile equipment, so they could perform various manipulations and intercept calls. This was announced by the National Security and Defense Council’s Center for Combating Disinformation and explains how you can protect your privacy.

There are some special codes you can use to test your phone.

The Russians can implement the so-called parallel call forwarding. So this is a situation where the call comes to two phone numbers at the same time: yours and someone else’s. At the same time, it is impossible not to notice the fact that you are resting. Nothing resonates in the tube and there are no extraneous sounds. There is only one way to know the truth – nverify the number with special codes. This way you will know if the number is connected in parallel or not.and redirection.

The codes are as follows:

• * # 21 # call – check the information about the included forwarding.
• * # 43 # call – call waiting status.
• *#62# call – check forwarding to another number.
• * # 33 # call – shows the barring status of outgoing services: calls, SMS and data.
• ## 002 # call – delete all call forwards.

These codes are suitable for absolutely all phones and mobile operators.

It’s better not to talk about anything confidential on the phone

If you are going to have a confidential conversation with someone or in front of invaders that could endanger you, it is better to spend it on messengers with secure encryption. In addition, residents of temporarily occupied territories are advised to regularly clean their phones from absolutely everything. Delete photos, contacts, messages so that you and your loved ones are safe in case the gadget is lost or stolen by the Russians.
