Insider Mukula Sharma said that Google has already started production of its new smartphone, the Google Pixel 6a. Production of the devices has already started in some Asian countries, which may indicate that the announcement is approaching.

The company is expected to present it to the world on May 11 during the Google I/O conference. It has been previously confirmed that the gadget will have a simple Pixel 6 design. This means you should expect a horizontal stripe of the camera and a cutout in the middle of the screen.

The device will have a 6.2-inch screen and more compact dimensions. The main camera will have a resolution of 12.2 MP and the hardware will be based on the Tensor processor. Also, the manufacturer plans to expand and enter more markets this year, so the smartphone will not only be sold in the USA and Japan. In terms of cost, it is unlikely to exceed $ 450-500.
