We have already mentioned Xataka Smart Home on other occasions that the Chinese market has real giants in terms of large inch televisions. There, companies such as TCL, Hisense or Xiaomi showed their strength with televisions up to 115 inches. We had the opportunity to be in front of the huge X955 Max model of TCL, the manufacturer that ranks first in this segment.
However, there are other manufacturers in China with large market shares in this industry. Huawei, for example, also offers televisions here and recently presented its latest weapon to combat other manufacturers in the giant TV segment: 110 inch Huawei Smart TV V5 Max. We tell you all the details below these lines.
Huawei jumps into the big inch TV pool
about this topic Huawei’s biggest TV yet. The 110-inch operating system comes equipped with HarmonyOS 4.5, which Huawei uses in all its devices and serves as a weapon to become independent from Google and Android. Its system offers various forms of remote management via Huawei devices and an entertainment platform called Smart Entertainment, which offers games, karaoke, home theater and even fitness routines.
The television offers an elegant and minimalist design, where its panel is based on a double base design, without straying too far from the current industry trend.
In terms of panel technologies, Huawei TV offers 4K UHD resolution Panel with SuperMiniLED technology and a native refresh rate of 120 Hz, ideal for video game lovers. Additionally, according to the manufacturer, the panel is capable of providing maximum brightness of up to 5,000 nits and also offers a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1.
In addition to these features, the panel polycrystalline quantum dot filmreduces reflections and improves light distribution. This means that the panel has gone through an anti-reflective treatment, so it has a matte feel, which is something that can create a divide in terms of opinions (contrast and brightness are often sacrificed in favor of improving its performance in very bright environments).
Among the technologies it offers, the television also offers artificial intelligence techniques that will increase the image quality at 1080p resolution, thanks to its Honghu Swan 900 processor. 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storageThese are rather unusual figures for the bulk of television we can find in Spain.
Offering a speaker system with five carbon fiber drivers, two natural silk dome tweeters and two passive radiators, the speaker does not fall short when it comes to sound.
Price and availability
The television will be launched in China on September 30 at a price of 69,999 yuan. 9.954 euros at the exchange rate approximately. Its arrival for the remaining regions has not yet been confirmed, so we will have to stay tuned for more details on this.
