Screen sharing from mobile phone to TV can be great in many situations. We may have a video or some kind of app on our phone that we want to show at home. And it’s much easier to do this through television having to pass the mobile phone from hand to hand.

There may be one or more ways to do this depending on the manufacturer. For example, Samsung has been working for years to ensure the best connectivity between its devices. There is an option called ‘Smart View’ that allows us to mirror the screen of a Galaxy onto one of these screens but there is also a way to do the same without having to touch anything. We tell you how to do this.

A way to quickly copy the original screen and not require pressing any buttons

It may sound strange, but the truth is that this is a very simple method of copying the screen. However, before taking action, we need to consider two issues. First and foremost: To use this method (like most), we need to have both a TV and a mobile phone. connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

The second thing we need to keep in mind is that although we do not need to touch any buttons, an application will need to be installed on the phone. An old acquaintance of this brand: SmartThings. With this application it is possible to: Fast and smart management of the entire Samsung ecosystemAnd of course, it should be noted that it is completely free. Note that our Samsung account will need to be logged into them.

If we meet these requirements, we are more than ready to get to work. The method itself is so simple that it may surprise more than one: just Touch one of the sides of the TV with the back of the Galaxy. This way, after a few seconds, the screen will be copied without you having to do anything else.

This feature, called ‘Touch View, Touch Sound’, is disabled by default in SmartThings. With the application installed on our device we just need to do the following:

• In SmartThings we go to the ‘Menu’ button. It is located in the bottom right.
• On the next screen, click on the gear to access the options.
• A new screen will appear where we need to look for the ‘ option.Tap Appearance, tap Sound‘ and enable it.

Thanks to this setting, we will no longer have to worry when we want to show our mobile screen on the TV. Of course, even if this option is active, we can continue to use other methods to mirror the screen whenever we want.
