Xiaomi has renewed its television catalog and presented the successor to the successful Xiaomi Mi TV Q1. The brand announces the launch of a new Smart TV It has a QLED panel and 4K UHD resolution with features and price to compete with the best known brands.
The Asian brand’s new connected and smart television comes with Google TV as its operating system, a display with a connection via HDMI 2.1 that allows a refresh rate of 60 Hz and all under one design and finished with a premium touch.

For the benefits that don’t stay
Talking about Xiaomi televisions means talking about models that are becoming more and more complete in terms of features and skins, and in this case, the Mi TV Q2 series would be no different. A TV that comes in 50, 55 and 65 inch diagonals, meant to compete head-to-head with the most established brands without the complexes.
A model in which the heatsink panel stands out with a diagonal ranging from 50 to 65 inches. 4K resolution and refresh rate up to 60 Hz. In this sense, it is noteworthy that the new generation consoles are not able to take advantage of their full potential thanks to the HDMI 2.1 connection, as they cannot offer 120 Hz features.
Besides the aforementioned 4K UHD resolution, this model has Dynamic Local Dimming technology that enables it to reach a contrast ratio of 10,000:1. And you shouldn’t miss support for all image enhancement systems we have in mind and here it is. HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision IQ. With the latter, and thanks to the sensors of the TV, the device intelligently detects the surrounding lighting and makes the corresponding adjustments to the image.
The audio section is also well covered thanks to its support. Dolby Audio and DTS-HD It has a total power of 30 watts with two stereo speakers.
Inside this television is the MTK 9611 Quad-core Cortex A55 processor, accompanied by two gigabytes of RAM memory and 1 Storage to install apps up to 16GB.
Mi TV Q2 has Google TV as its operating system. It allows us to install almost any application from the Google Play Store. In addition, we do not have the presence of Google Assistant to integrate the TV into the connected home and use voice control.
One of the novelties of this television is its new remote control with Bluetooth technology, which allows it to be used without having to “point” at the screen to press any button on the remote control. As well as shortcuts for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video A microphone to use the Google voice assistant.
Xiaomi Mi TV Q2 also adds functions for local streaming, because Embed Chromecast. It also has Miracast so that we can use these two technologies to send content or replicate the screen of our mobile phones or laptops.
