The official representative office of the world-famous satellite internet provider Starlink will soon appear in Ukraine. The good news was announced to the Ukrainians by the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.
Starlink system, which belongs to SpaceX company of Ilona Maska, has become an integral part of our country’s life in recent months. Satellite Internet currently provides uninterrupted communications for the Ukrainian military, helping to maintain stable operation of critical infrastructure, including telecommunications and energy. Even the operation and planting organization of medical facilities is now directly dependent on Starlink’s leading satellite technologies.
Deployment of the Starlink network in Ukraine began in the early days of the war, when Elon Musk sent the first sets of equipment as support and gave Ukrainians access to his system. Currently, more than 10,000 Starlink stations are operating in our country.
The news of the opening of the official representation of the Starlink project in Ukraine heralded a new era of digitalization. According to the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mikhail Fedorov, work on opening a Starlink office has already begun. He also noted that he instructed the relevant institutions to speed up the procurement procedures for certification, frequency measurement and mass launch of Starlink across Ukraine.

The opening of Ilona Maska’s local representative office also means that Starlink Internet will reach a much wider user base than in Ukraine.
“It is almost impossible to imagine Ukraine without modern Starlink technology. Now this technology will become even closer and accessible to Ukrainians.” – Fedorov noted.
Therefore, very soon everyone will be able to use “space” Internet technologies, not only officials and employees of enterprises critical for the country. Despite the fact that the war is still raging, we are preparing for the reconstruction of Ukraine and mastering the world’s leading technologies, we are optimistic about the future.
