A series of allegations that emerged after many incidents in recent times claimed that the people behind the said crimes were organized through Discord. Minister Uraloğlu also said that they would follow up on the matter and the necessary sanctions would be applied.

Minister Uraloğlu: “Disagreement is not willing to cooperate”

Following these statements, Minister Uraloğlu made statements about Discord, whose access was blocked last night: “There’s a strange satisfaction that we closed Discord. If we had closed it a week ago, this satisfaction probably wouldn’t exist.” he said.

Minister Uraloğlu said that the main reason for the Discord access ban was that Discord was uncooperative. “Access to Discord has been blocked. This is a completely closed system. Unfortunately, our security units cannot make inquiries there. Because the information refused to be shared with our security units, we had to block access.” he said.

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç, who made a statement on the matter via his personal X account, said: “We will never allow attempts to shake the foundations of our social structure.” he said.
