Early this Friday (17) Microsoft began to provide App Defender for more mobile devices android as well as iOS in a new format. In addition to tablets and smartphones, the new cybersecurity app is also available on Windows and macOS computers. Aimed at users who need to protect multiple connected devices, the software provides a dashboard with which people can manage their protection with a Microsoft 365 Family or Personal subscription.

The new system offers anti-malware protection, constant anti-virus scanning of all malicious applications already installed on your phone and new applications. Microsoft Defender also allows users to receive real-time alerts and notifications, as well as security tips to protect different types of devices. It is worth noting that the company said that the features offered vary by operating system.

For different types of devices, the application also has tools against phishing on web pages. On Android, users are entitled to antivirus protection directly from the security app.

On the official page of the service, Microsoft emphasizes that in terms of Microsoft 365 PersonalDefender features include online protection for 1 person, up to 5 devices simultaneously, anti-virus and anti-phishing protection, continuous monitoring, real-time alerts and security tips.
