NFTs bored monkey are among the most successful digital collectibles in the non-fungible token universe. Taking advantage of the sense of unity and community of Bored Ape owners, 18-year-old Ricky da Luz saw an opportunity turn NFTs into physical toys and has already raised over $700,000..
Understand what NFT is and how the technology works
Ricky made about $10,000 from services such as lawn mowing and used the money saved to make the first copies, creating IzmToys company. He then contacted several NFT shareholders and offered the first toys for free. Soon people began to comment on the availability of physical versions of the toys, and the young man received the first custom orders.

The first Bored Ape he sold cost $400 and Ricky currently runs the company with his father, Tony da Lush. The number of orders increased so much that they had to hire six employees to help with production. Average price for each unique physical Bored Ape toy costs about $700., and the cost of some models reaches 2400 dollars. In addition to commissioned and exclusive models, IsmToys also manufactures other toys using NFT designs as the basis for prototyping, either individual versions or toys from over 10,000 units.
Another project of the company is the creation of (Mint) NFTs, which will serve as authentication for the owners of the physical version of the toy. As is the case with the 888 Golems series, where the owner receives the corresponding NFT after purchasing the toy.
Community driven project
Ricky first contacted 100 users via Twitter who used Bored Ape images as their profile picture. Among these people, five responded by showing interest in physical toys (and free at the time). The young man argues that it was the sense of community that made IsmToys successful, because, he says, the owners of Bored Ape have a strong identification with the brand.
He also claims that the physical representation of objects owned by users in the digital world has caught the attention of NFT owners. “To have something that you can touch, a physical representation of your personality, is amazing,” commented Ricky.
Continuation after commercial
This image caught the attention of user @dejen_art, interviewed by Insider. According to her, toys bring the digital world closer to the real one. “Now I sort of identify as my bored monkey. Ricky’s toys bring the digital world into the physical universe, and seeing this art [Bored Ape] come alive, it’s impressive.”
