The update even fixed a reported issue that caused the update to fail, but some users have found a new error when performing the update caused by this build, which has already been released as an optional cumulative update for any interested user without needing to be part of the program preview.

It was even backed up in the changelog submitted for the update that one of the news was that this crash was fixed in the update: “We fixed an issue that could cause the upgrade to Windows 11 (original) to fail.”

“Many people are having issues with optional cumulative update KB5014668, [falam que] it can’t be installed over the web, Microsoft hasn’t fixed this, check the Microsoft community and search Bing” – the message of the Feedback Center says.

With several complaints filed on the support forum Microsofta user reported that he was able to fix the issue by reinstalling Windows 11, see:

“Sorry for the time, but I was finally able to solve this problem. I had to contact MS support and open a ticket, they told me to do an in-place upgrade (which I didn’t want to do in the first place). Anyway, I downloaded Windows 11 and mounted it.”

“After doing all the upgrade steps, I noticed that Windows re-installed these previously installed KBs; Update 2022-04 for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057) is the 2022-06 cumulative update for the .NET Framework. 3.5 and 48 for Windows 11 for x64 (KB5013889). After several reboots and patience managed to install the desired June KB KB5014668″

OUR Microsoft has not yet released an update to fix this issue introduced in this update.
