Elon Musk continues to make great strides in the world’s first space Internet service. Founded by Musk SpaceX company aims to establish modem network around the world. In situations such as wars and natural disasters, Musk, who wants people to be able to communicate and surf the Internet without interruption, launches satellites into orbit almost every month.
With the last launch last month 53 satellites launched into Earth orbit. Following the events of recent days, SpaceX, which enables Starlink to provide active internet services in Iran, launched 52 additional satellites into orbit yesterday.
Thousands of additional satellites will be launched into Earth orbit
Starlink is a satellite equipped Falcon-9 rocket, launched Saturday night from the Cape Canaveral space station. Nine minutes after launch, Falcon-9’s first stage booster disengaged from the rocket and returned to Earth, according to the company’s launch details. The booster separated from the rocket landed on a satellite ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
Fifteen minutes after launch, SpaceX announced on its Twitter account that the satellites had been deployed. Construction of SpaceX’s Starlink megaconstellation, which will provide internet services to people around the world, continues. The company is currently approx. 3500 Starlink satellites launched into orbit and plans to launch thousands more.
