Third consecutive film weekend Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets topped the box office in Brazilian cinemas. The production was 5.6 million reais and is already 46.8 million reais in the country, placing it as the fourth most watched movie of the year here.

Sonic 2: The Movieand remained in second place with 4.7 million reais. One of the main anime premieres of the week Jiu-Jitsu Kaisen 0 finished third with 2.8 million reais. Production lost city was fourth with 2.4 million reais.

National blue building detectives 3, which debuted in about 800 theaters, only finished in fifth place, grossing $1.8 million between April 28 and May 1. Two other premieres had low incomes but were still in the top 10: Downton Abbey: Era Uma Nova in eighth place with R$320,000; and A Criança do Diabo in tenth place with R$66,000.
