Brave1, a platform that brings together public and private initiatives to develop innovative solutions in the interests of defense and security forces, has already received more than 100 ideas that can help Ukraine gain a technological advantage over the enemy.
According to Ukrinform, this was announced in Telegram, Deputy Prime Minister responsible for Innovations, Education, Science and Technology Development – Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
“We have already received more than 100 applications from Ukrainian developers for the Brave1 defense technology cluster. Currently, a strong military technology space is emerging in Ukraine. The cluster team is working to integrate developments into the procurement process as soon as possible. Armed Forces, Defense It helps with the expertise of the Ministry of Strategy and Industry,” he said.
He reminded that the best developments will receive a government contract or grant to develop their own products.
As reported, Brave1 is a joint venture of the Ministry of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Digital, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, and the Ministry of Economy. Its purpose is to encourage and support the development of companies working in the direction of defense technologies.
The cluster offers organizational and specialist development support for industry, as well as access to accelerators and incubators. It is about systematic work on improving developments, increasing knowledge on business scaling, creating value for investors, and mentoring. Developers will also have access to the R&D resource center that will assist with required components, tests and equipment.
