Dell Launches 32″ UltraSharp 6K Monitor (U3224KB) for those who were waiting for the device introduced earlier this year. The manufacturer’s new monitor was unveiled at CES 2023, which took place from January 5 to 8, and drew attention to the features and quality it has to offer.

The monitor features a 31.5-inch panel with a dense 6K resolution.. This allows the monitor to have a resolution of 6144×3456 pixels. One of the downsides of the monitor is the fact that it has a 60Hz refresh rate, which is well below other devices on the market and at a more affordable price.
In turn, the recently released UltraSharp uses LG’s IPS Black technology to produce rich blacks similar to those found in Mini-LED and OLED panels. The device delivers brighter images despite lagging behind Apple’s 1,000,000:1 variant thanks to a 2,000:1 contrast ratio.
The U3224KB is also certified with a DisplayHDR 600 rating, although its brightness level is lower compared to Pro Display XDR. In addition, the monitor has a 10-bit panel that provides a wide variety of colors and compatibility with several standards, including Apple’s Display P3.
The new monitor introduced by Dell still has USB-A and USB-C ports on the front. The rear panel has a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port and inputs for DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and Thunderbolt 4. These configurations are capable of faster data transfers that can reach up to 40Gbps and 140W of power on a PC.
While the device may not appeal to consumers looking for refresh rates above 60Hz, Dell ensures it offers great value for those looking for a performance-focused device. Thinking mainly of video calls and meetings, it has a built-in 4K webcam with an HDR CMOS sensor.
