Twitter has expanded the control tools it offers to its users with a system called Twitter Circle. lets you manage who can see and interact with tweets With posts, it offers the ability to post to smaller audiences.
In a statement, the company announced that there are tweets that users want to share with the whole world, others prefer to separate them for those closest to you. It introduced Twitter Circle for this last possibility.
This tool will allow users to share their posts only with their closest circle and «more candid conversations. You’ll also be able to build “closer connections” by engaging with a smaller audience. The user will be assured that these posts will not be retweeted again.
To do this, they allow individual management on every tweet of the public they wish to share, and they let them interact with it. In this way, they will be able to find the option to share with their own circle or with all their followers before sharing.
Users can manually set their circles from a list. up to 150 people, can be changed at any time. Members of this group will not be notified, but will see a green badge at the bottom of tweets posted to this group.
Twitter Circle is available in beta for a small group of users of social networks around the world, both on iOS and Android, and in web version.
