In a civil lawsuit filed on Monday in a New York state court in Manhattan, Noel Dunphy said Giuliani started abusing her almost immediately after he hired her as a business development director in January 2019 and made it clear that her satisfaction sexual needs was an “absolute requirement”. his work.

Dunphy also said that Giuliani had gone to “alcohol-soaked rants with sexist, racist, and anti-Semitic commentswho made her work environment unbearable and fired her in January 2021 without paying her the salary she agreed to defer.

“Giuliani presented himself as a generous employer and a hero,” the complaint says. “It was neither of two things (…) In this case, Miss Dunphy seeks a measure of justice for a man who thought his strength and connections made him untouchable.”

Giuliani’s spokesman did not immediately comment.

The lawsuit seeks damages of at least $10 million from Giuliani and his three eponymous companies. Giuliani, 78, is also a former mayor of New York.
