Announced Canon For some time now some markets like India have been introduced their new high quality remote camera, Canon CR-N700.

The new device is part of the brand’s extended range of remote devices and aims to help producers and broadcasters looking for a degree of autonomy for their equipment, which the CR-N700 provides with two accompanying launch companion applications enabling auto-tracking and auto-loop.

Canon CR-N700 launches in India

Canon CR-N hopes to meet the growing demand for content production and live broadcasting by offering its customers devices that enable them to meet a variety of needs. Check out some of the Canon CR-N700 features below:

• Support high-quality video recording 4K/60P/4:2:2/10bit;
• Allows you to record HDR in HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) or PQ (Perceptual Quantization) formats;
• 15x zoom lens;
• 1.0″ CMOS sensor;
• Autofocus Dual Pixel CMOS AF, Eye Detection AF, and Head Detection AF (features that allow the camera to identify and track fast-moving subjects).

Auto tracking and auto loop

The new features available with the launch of the CR-N700 are designed to enable the consumer to increase productivity and reduce workload and labor for remote manufacturing. Using these tools will allow operators to focus on tasks such as switching cameras and delivering content without the need for additional hardware such as servers or computers.

With the auto-tracking function, the remote camera automatically tracks speakers or certain other people during production, whether it’s commercial presentations, lectures or events. The camera’s built-in visual analysis system allows you to shoot from multiple angles, including the whole body, upper body, shoulders, and more.

Auto Loop allows the remote camera to automatically follow the subtle pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) adjustments typically performed by cameramen during broadcast events such as sports, interviews, TV commercials and movies. Parameter adjustments are made and configured to determine the position and duration of the pause at each point, route configuration for determining the speed of movement, and other operations, including preview and launch.
