EducaWorld for a better world

According to Gabriel Martini Dutra Soares Santos, people with cognitive impairments can be considered incompetent and end up participating in inappropriate educational processes. “As a math lover and student with ADHD, I decided to combine two things in my creation, the EducaWorld app. It was created as a result of an intensive process of research and interviews with an educational psychologist. To this I will add my personal experience gained during the years of my treatment at CAPS. [Centros de Atenção Psicossocial]in San Miguel Paulista“, reveals.

Rise, where the project was presented, is looking for promising young people and offering them the opportunity to become members of the organization if they are selected. Currently, among the 500 selected projects, only eight Brazilians were among the finalists, including Gabriel Martini’s EducaWorld app.. Rise accepts applications from all over the world, receiving thousands of applications each year.

Each year, only 500 candidates are approved for the second stage, which consists of a series of interviews and a detailed analysis of the candidate’s life. Professor Arian Aparecida Moreira is responsible for Gabriel’s guidance both in writing and in the content of Disabilities, Disorders and Syndromes, as well as in interviews in English requested by Rise. If Gabriel passes the final selection, he will become the Global Winner and receive lifetime access to a range of benefits such as scholarships to overseas collegessponsorship of created projects, access to a direct network of contacts between Global Winners, a cash fund for project development and much more.
